SCOTTSBORO PET OWNERS - OFFICIALS HAVE CONFIRMED OVER A DOZEN CASES OF CANINE INFLUENZA (CANINE FLU) IN THE SOUTHEAST



While only a few confirmed reports of canine influenza (canine flu) in Alabama, other Southeastern states such as nearby Georgia and Tennessee have reported dozens of cases, with at least 6 being fatal, and Williams Animal Clinic wants you to be aware of symptoms of the disease and offer canine flu vaccines to protect your pets.

Dr. Michael Lowrey joined our Williams Animal Clinic family in 2016 as our Managing Veterinarian.  Prior to Williams Animal Clinic, Dr. Lowrey worked in emergency vet medicine in Huntsville and general practice vet medicine in Stevenson, Alabama and Knoxville, Tennessee. 



He studied Agriculture and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee and studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Hiwassee College.
