Williams Animal Clinic created a charitable fund to offer grants to clients and non-profit organizations in Scottsboro and northeast Alabama who need financial assistance to provide our life-saving veterinary care for their pets.
Pet owners find themselves financially unprepared to do what is needed to save their pet after an accident or during emergencies and face difficult decisions if they cannot afford treatment.
Inspired to help less fortunate owners and non-profits afford emergency pet care, we’ve established “The Dr. James Williams Veterinary Care Fund” with the Veterinary Care Foundation.
Dr. James Williams, founder of Williams Animal Clinic in 1973, passed away in 2015 after over 40 years serving Scottsboro pets and their families. He and his family proudly supported our local animal shelter and the pets and people of our community.
The Veterinary Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation where 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to veterinary hospitals like Williams Animal Clinic to use for charitable funds. The Veterinary Care Foundation never uses charitable contributions for administration, salaries or fundraising.
For those of you who are able to help less fortunate pet owners, you can donate by clicking here and selecting Alabama then Williams Animal Clinic. You can also donate by coming to Williams Animal Clinic and completing the donation form.
